Memorial Day Weekend

 My Weekend

Over the weekend, I had an awesome time catching up with my cousins. We spent the afternoon playing pool, and it turned into a fun mix of friendly competition and non-stop laughter. I hadn’t played in a while, so it felt great to get back into the game and just enjoy those light-hearted moments. Afterward, we went out to eat, and I had a burrito that was absolutely packed with flavor. I followed it up with some tacos that were just as tasty and hit the spot. The whole day was super chill—great food, fun games, and even better company. It was one of those weekends that leaves you feeling recharged just from being around the people who matter most. The next day, I went with my family to Holland to visit some family friends. It was a nice change of pace, and after spending time with them, we all decided to head to a hookah lounge nearby. They had snooker tables there, so of course I jumped in for a few games, which made the night even better. Later on, we stopped by Chipotle for a quick dinner. I got my usual order, and it hit the spot like always. The whole trip felt like a perfect mix of chill vibes, good conversations, and random fun.

Impressions of the East Lansing Art Fair

The American-style food from an American food truck, which was quite expensive and salty for me.         From Dahyeon:       I’d like to tell you something about the East Lansing Art Festival. There are so many things I’d like to share with you, but for now, I just want to tell you three of them.      First of all, I am going to introduce the core of the festival, the booths. There were a variety of booths featuring jewelry, paintings, photographs, and ceramics. There are about 135 booths, so you're likely to find one that suits your taste. In Korea, the main purpose of the artists at the festival is to sell their artworks. However, unlike in Korea, I felt that the artists at this festival had another meaningful goal — to connect and communicate with others. It was truly beautiful to see the artists talking with tourists about their work. If you want to experience meaningful conversations with artists, just come and enjoy t...

Michigan State Capitol

Do you know that each state in the U.S has its own capitol building , unlike in Korea? In Korea, there is only one National Assembly building in the capital, Seoul. However, In the United States, each state has its own state capitol. This is quite an interesting fact to Koreans. So, I would like to explain you about the capitol of Michigan State in two parts : architectural features and political function and role.      The first thing you can see is the exterior of the building. The Michigan State Capitol features a neoclassical exterior with a large dome and elegant design. It makes you think that it looks like a Medieval European building. Then, if you go inside the building, you can see so many sophisticated rooms. The interior of the Michigan State Capitol is organized by a central rotunda, with richly decorated chambers, historic murals, and elegant staircases radiating outward from the center. Th is kind of interior features ornate 19th-century...
