Visiting unfamiliar cities or exploring new places often leads me to unexpected discoveries and learning experiences. So today, I’d like to share my trip to Chicago. My trip started from 6 AM on this past Friday. It took us about 4 hours to drive from Michigan to Chicago, but we enjoyed the conversation in English because talking with our coordinator, Mark, is always meaningful and valuable to us. We were in Chicago before we noticed. Soon we had lunch and then went to an architecture boat tour on the Chicago River. I was really impressed by the Chicago architecture boat tour. Seeing the high-rise buildings and skyscrapers from the river gave me a whole new perspective on the city. The guide’s explanations were both informative also challenging and made the experience even more interesting.
