My Healing Day

Mooo Cows

Have you ever been to Mooville in Michigan? At Mooville, you can enjoy a fun farm experience that includes a petting zoo, a behind-the-scenes dairy tour, and delicious ice cream tasting with over 60 flavors. I went there on July 2, and I could experience many things which I have never tried in Korea before. Let me tell you about my story in Mooville.

At first, we went to a cow farm which is managed by automatic machine. On the way to the farm, I noticed terrible smell. The closer we got to the farm, the more powerful the smell became. I felt like throwing up because we went to there as soon as we ate sandwich. However, I really was eager to see the cows closely, so I held my breath and quietly approached, carefully observing how the cows ate and what they looked like in detail. Then, I went to the back side of the cow farm and I could see how do the machine get the milk from the cow. It looked really comfortable for not only people but also cows. Since there is no human contact, it is more hygienic and less stressful for the cows. It was really interesting and informative.

So Cute Baby Goats

Next, I can experience to feed to baby goats. They are so small and really cute. When I feed them, I was so surprised because they looked like an angel, but they ate their food so aggressively. Although they made me surprise, I liked how calm and peaceful it felt to interact with the animals. After that, I bought an ice-cream!! I chose Goal for Gold and Honey Lavender. It tasted so milky and sweet.

Since I came in US, I met a variety of animals that I had never seen in my daily life in Korea. That’s why this kind of experiences are important to me. Mooville is more than just a place but also it offers me a sense of peace, warmth, and connection with nature. In addition, Mooville werves as a healing place where I can escape the fast pace of everyday life. Through shared experiences, Mooville reminds me of the simple joys of life.

Impressions of the East Lansing Art Fair

The American-style food from an American food truck, which was quite expensive and salty for me.         From Dahyeon:       I’d like to tell you something about the East Lansing Art Festival. There are so many things I’d like to share with you, but for now, I just want to tell you three of them.      First of all, I am going to introduce the core of the festival, the booths. There were a variety of booths featuring jewelry, paintings, photographs, and ceramics. There are about 135 booths, so you're likely to find one that suits your taste. In Korea, the main purpose of the artists at the festival is to sell their artworks. However, unlike in Korea, I felt that the artists at this festival had another meaningful goal — to connect and communicate with others. It was truly beautiful to see the artists talking with tourists about their work. If you want to experience meaningful conversations with artists, just come and enjoy t...

My Precious Classmate

Do you remember the first day of this semester? I definitely remember when I met each classmate for the first time. At the beginning of the semester, it was awkward to speak in English with my c My classmate lassmate b ecause they weren't Korean, and most of them were also older than me. However, as time went by, I realized that they are so kind, and I can learn many things by doing activities in our class.    First, some people are not afraid to speak English, so they started conversation naturally to me. For example, Suguru and I usually arrived at school early, and from the start of the semester, he would always initiate conversations in a gentle, non-intimidating way. Even though it was a really simple question, I could develop my English-speaking skills and gain confidence. Thanks to him , my fear of speaking English gradually faded. Now, I can st art a conversation first with my classmate !     Second, when we learned about histroy, and polit...
